Cardboard and Candy wrappers

This piece is meant to encompass one of the seven sins, gluttony, where individuals use the consumption of food in order to feel a sense of comfort. In the creation of the bear, candy wrappers were hot glued onto a cardboard base that I constructed to show the extent of desire that one who is gluttonous falls victim to when don't want to feel alone. The symbol of the bear parallels with a child's own innocent need of comfort and familiarity in a teddy bear's company.
